(More customer reviews)I bought this clock even after reading the so-so reviews here because I like the looks of it. So far it is keeping perfect time and the alarm goes off as set. It looks lovely on the bedside table which was important to me. I'm glad I got it in ivory, it really is attractive. The knobs on the back are long enough for easy setting and hitting the alarm off button in the morning is easy. I didn't mind having to use a screwdriver to open the back to insert the battery. The alarm is loud enough to wake me, a heavy sleeper but can be jolting for you sensitive types. :-)
Typical of phosphorescent or luminescent dials, it will glow for a while after lights are out but will fade long before morning. I thought this clock was worth the $21.95 but not the $34.50 that you'll see it for in one of those yuppie catalogs.
